Presented by MIDA Academy, EAA Documentary Forum *(European, American and Asian Documentary Forum, hereinafter referred to as "EAA")is by far the only joint documentary forum by three continents in the world.  EAA‘s aim is to further the communication and combination of documentaries from Europe, America and Asia and to promote diversified development of documentaries.

As a MIDA summit, EAA annually invites representatives from major international documentary festivals and outstanding documentary directors, producers, critics and industry leaders to exchange the latest ideas and technologies of making documentaries, discuss the current situation of documentaries and documentary producers in different continents and explore the possibilities of transnational co-productions.

EAA 2010 will be held between 7th, June and 8th, June with 2 topics lists as below:
1.Summit of European, American and Asian Documentary Festival Presidents
2.Asian Image in global communication

What's the difference between criterions of different major documentary festivals? What's the ultimate value of an outstanding documentary? Let‘s wait and see what answers these documentary festival presidents will give us.

Asia has become a new spotlight in world documentaries. How is Asian Image portrayed during the process of global communication? And how many misunderstands and blanks are there during the process? How do conflicts and integration of values, culture and politics imperceptibly change our positions and attitudes?
